The  South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS) is excited to announce major upgrades to its Medicaid Web-based Claims Submission Tool!  SCDHHS will be launching the newly redesigned Web Tool soon.  The user-friendly online instrument will offer an array of helpful learning features that will make it even more attractive and functional to providers in search of additional tips and best practices for utilizing the information portal.

The mission of South Carolina Medicaid Provider Education is to ensure providers have up-to-date information required to understand Medicaid policy in order to receive prompt and accurate reimbursement for services rendered to Medicaid beneficiaries.  We accomplish this through:

• Training opportunities offered to SC Medicaid providers

• Generic training on a variety of topics; 

  i.e.,   Medicaid Basics, Claim-level Adjustments, Comprehensive Web Tool Training
   
• Workshops on program-specific issues

• Technical support for questions about electronic transactions, including support for use of the SC Medicaid Web-based Claims Submission Tool (Web Tool)

• Response to provider requests for current provider manuals
